A red and yellow Gala apple.

A picture a day, day 2: Three little pigs

Three little pigs (no. 2): Three little sugar pigs, symbols of good luck in Switzerland.Three little pigs (no. 2): Colored pencil (Faber-Castell Polychromos).

This is the Year of the Pig (or more accurately the Boar) for sure, but pigs are a symbol of good luck in Switzerland and other areas of Europe. These are tiny little sugar pigs (about 1cm / 1/3 inch or so wide), flat on one side so they can lie flat on the top of cakes and such.

A picture a day, day 1: Champagne Cork

Champagne cork (no. 1): Champagne cork left over from last night. Actually it was a spumenta from Moldova, Very light, very bubbly. The cork looks somewhat squashed (for real, not just a perspective problem).Champagne cork (no. 1): Colored pencil (Faber-Castell Polychromos).

A picture a day for 2007

One of my New Year’s resolutions: draw or paint something every day, in analog.
