The difference is that in general, Japanese journalists covering other countries tend to err on the positive side (eg: covering T*ump neutrally) while western media tends to err on the negative side.

It is not just journalists of course. Most online pundits do this abd worse. It’s not just limited to coverage of Japan, and the article points out correctly Japanese journalists do this too when covering other nations.

I would rather see online fitness videos done by slightly (or more than slightly) out of shape looking ppl. Watching rock hard fitness trainers is just annoying and motivates me right back to the potato chips on the armchair.

I’m scratching my head as to why the media are just now talking about the study from the expert team, since it has been out there for some time now. And it’s what the “80% reduction” is based on. I’m too tired and fed up to go dig.
